Just a little update on who was who, and who was where: The actual surgeon of the Elephant at Copenhagen was Robert Crichton, who was also later present at Trafalgar as surgeon of the Minotaur. Ferguson returned to England with the wounded in the Monarch, Isis and the captured Holstein, arriving at Yarmouth 22 April 1801, with the Monarch (Captain Bligh) and Isis continuing to the Nore, arriving on 7 May . |
