In Nelson's day it really would have been send the Navy, but now we seem to have almost (at least she is on the way to the scrap yard) HMS Cumberland hopeing to evacuate around 3,500 British Nationals. I don't even think a ship, frigate in Nelson's Navy could get that many on board. Where is Illustrious or even Ocean on this? What a mess.
