Not cheap, but then would you get it cheaper anywhere else?

I do love the statistics of these newspaper reports. Where on earth do they get the fact that Britain had 22 three-deckers in Nelson's time!? Actually, I think you could almost count them on one hand.

Oh I dont know. Lewis Page is an ex Naval officer and he is normally accurate. Lets see

Royal William
Barfleur
Royal George
Britannia
Namur
Union
Neptune
Victory
Royal Soveriegn
Royal George
Queen Charlotte
Gibralter
Caledonia
Nelson
Saint Vincent
Howe
Ville de Paris
Hibernia
Ocean
Dreadnought
Temeriaire
Commerce de Marseille
Ca Ira?
San Josef

plus many captured 80's that may have been 3's. Admittedly some of these are not concurrent and I have probably missed a couple as well.

The article says 'at the time of Trafalgar', Joss, so as you suggest, I don't think some of those count - but I still think you would need both hands and most of your toes to count them, Kester! Although to get to 22, he may have included receiving ships, hospital ships and prison ships.

Well, ok, two hands! I haven't gone into it, but 22 would seem to be stretching it a bit in 1805.

You have a lot of fingers, Kester
    1 Britannia
    2 Barfleur
    3 Glory
    4 Hibernia
    5 Neptune
    6 Prince
    7 Prince George
    8 Princess Royal
    9 Temeraire
    10 Ville de Paris
    11 Windsor Castle
    12 Royal Sovereign
    13 San Josef
    14 Prince of Wales
    15 Queen
    16 Dreadnought
    17 St George
    18 Victory

Guardships, Hospital ships, Prison ships:
    19 Salvador del Mundi
    20 Sandwich
    21 Sussex

Any advance, Joss?

Any additions are specious really

Commerce de Marseilles was in British Hands in 1805 but as a hulk
Ocean was launched just after Trafalgar (24th October) but was building and thus in Naval accounts so could count
Namur was reduced to a 74 at some point in 1805 (I am not sure when)
Union (90) was a hospital ship from 1799 and broken up 1816. May have been hulked by this time
