I had seen a notice about this book earlier, but not one showing some of the illustrations. They look most informative.

It certainly looks worth buying, especially as it comes from such an author, and I would think a 'must have' for anyone interested in the Victory – or indeed any other ship of the time.

I was rather amused by the format of the car manual!

Surely looks a lot of fun! Haynes are of course famous for car workshop manuals, such as that I used to make repairs to a succession of old VW Beetles. They started by taking cars to bits in order to provide the 'nuts and bolts' information that owners needed. i suppose a similar thing is happening to HMS Victory.

I believe they have done quite few non car manuals....tanks, planes...very unusual.
