Tony, I agree, there was not much there about the Olympic spirit, or the reason for the Games in the first place. I also can't help feeling that many foriegn competitors and others at the Games, might have come away with a rather warped impression of Great Britain – as having a 'fantastic' pop culture but not much else. I did wonder why the 'Great' is in the title of the country, now I know. Silly me, in thinking it was for other reasons! |
