A couple of nights ago I watched an episode of 'Four Rooms', now being broadcast in Sweden as 'Final offer'. You've probably all seen it already, but the episode was the one in which the hat from Nelson's column, made for the 2012 Olympics, featured. It was the final item, appearing before the four bidders, who course instantly recognised it's potential and wanted to bid for it. In the end it made £22,000 (I believe £25,000 was originally wanted) for the Lord Mayor of London's appeal charity. If you haven't already seen it, I'm sure you can find the clip on line. |

Hi Kester I've seen some of those programmes but I didn't see the one you mention - so thanks for letting us know. From the Channel 4 website this particular episode seems to be Series 3 No 8. But I don't think it is available on the Channel 4 catch up facility. So if anyone can find it elsewhere please point us in the right direction . . . . MB |

Hi Mark, You are right about the programme series and number. However, I can't find the clip of the actual programme, despite searching for it. As you say, Channel Four doesn't seem to have it for viewing, and it wouldn't appear to be on utube either unless I missed it. So unfortunately, unless someone else can find it, I assume it's not available. This is a pity for those who haven't seen it, especially on this site.
