Coming up on BBC Radio 4 (and probably also on iPlayer for 7 days thereafter), the Saturday Play, 9th August 2014, at 2:30pm until 3:30pm – VICTORY, a play by Gwyneth Hughes. The story of the triangular relationship between Admiral Nelson, William Hamilton, and Emma, Lady Hamilton after they return to England from Italy. The trio come under intense public scrutiny, which continues until Nelson's death at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. Starring Imogen Stubbs and Ronan Vibert. Ronan Vibert as Nelson, an excellent actor, made a very sinister Robespierre in the BBC production of ' The Scarlet Pimpernel' |
