I hope we will all raise a glass to the Immortal Memory today.

The NMM is marking the occasion with free talks and a guided tour through the letters and journals of men who served in the navy of Nelson's Day. There is a splendid picture in today's Times (behind a Paywall, sadly) of the Union Jack flown by HMS Minotaur at Trafalgar, whose captain, of course, was our member Tony's illustrious ancestor Charles Mansfield.

Anna,

I'm sure we'll all be remembering Trafalgar Day today, the 210th Anniversary. Have just been looking at photos of the annual Sea Cadet Parade in Trafalgar Square.
