I hope we will all raise a glass to the Immortal Memory today. The NMM is marking the occasion with free talks and a guided tour through the letters and journals of men who served in the navy of Nelson's Day. There is a splendid picture in today's Times (behind a Paywall, sadly) of the Union Jack flown by HMS Minotaur at Trafalgar, whose captain, of course, was our member Tony's illustrious ancestor Charles Mansfield. |

Anna, I'm sure we'll all be remembering Trafalgar Day today, the 210th Anniversary. Have just been looking at photos of the annual Sea Cadet Parade in Trafalgar Square. |
