Nelson & His World

This is very short notice:

there will be a programme, 'Last Word', on Radio 4 at 4 pm today, Friday 9 January, when Colin White, 'Nelson's Representative on Earth', will be one of four people whose obituaries will be discussed.

This was a frustratingly short, and rather disjointed presentation, with several brief comments from contributors that you wished they could have expanded upon. However, it did give a glimpse of Colin's enthusiasm and geniality, his 'presence' and flair as a speaker and his deep commitment not only to Nelson but to our maritime history.
