Nelson was a pupil of the Paston School in Norfolk. Scroll down to read the Paston School Song, which mentions Nelson 'our proudest boast.' http://www.users.waitrose.com/~ashleygr ... nelson.HTM Note that the rhythm indicates that Trafalgar is pronounced Traffle-GAR. This was as late as 1952! The school motto is in French. I wonder what Nelson thought of that? |
