Very interested to know with the Oxford Archaeological Survey and the recent excavation of the cemetery, if the name Dornford appeared in the excavation reports. Have just ordered the book on the research and await with keen interest on a family connection.
I visited (what remains to be seen) of the cemetery in 2005 and not knowing of family connections then, however I did find the headstone of Thomas Allen, Nelson's Secretary still in situ.

Cheers :)
