Rather than get jostled by the crowds, Lotta and I decided to keep out of the 'scrum' and go and view it on my mother-in-law's television, with tea thrown in! People always talk about the atmosphere you miss that way – but I'd far rather see something! The television coverage was very good, including the Service in the Cathedral, the carriage drive and trip on the Royal Barge 'Vasaorden', the State Dinner and the final cutting of the cake. All in all I think we must have watched from eight to ten hours of television – and have the eyes to match!
