I hope members will use this thread to post details of articles and papers of interest that they encounter in their reading. Please amend the date in the thread heading when posting information so that all will be aware of additions.

The Journal for Maritime Research http://www.jmr.nmm.ac.uk/server/show/nav.1773 has an interesting collection of articles, some for purchase, but there is also a good number that are freely accessible. Any article without a 'Buy article' icon is readily available. These include:
