Hello Everyone

At last 'The Hamilton Bitch' and 'Life After Nelson' are available as Amazon paperbacks.

(For those of you with e.readers, 'Life After Nelson' is on an Amazon 'countdown deal' this week - 99p tomorrow!)

Happy reading and very best wishes to you all,
Vanda Cain

Many thanks for the update, Vanda.

Do we have a thread somewhere on Nelsonian novels? I have a feeling we started listing them, but where?

I'm off for a break for a couple of weeks. Will look in if I get near a computer.

Just started on the David Donachie Nelson & Emma trilogy. Good but so far not matching Vanya's 'Bitch' & 'Life After'. Hope that one day the Mary Simpson, Elizabeth Andrews, Mary Moutray and Adelaide Correglia adventures will get the Vanya treatment.

Thank you so much, Ray! As you are on the committee of The Nelson Society - which is once again ignoring my very polite request to flag up the new paperbacks - perhaps you could twist the odd arm. The National Maritime Museum is also ignoring my letter, as is The National Museum of the Royal Navy, whose artworks I catalogued and who then plagiarised my work. Good manners in short supply all round, I think.

Re Mary Moutray et al, there really isn't enough known about these girls to put together a good story and to be honest, I'm really Nelsoned out - even though I can see Victory, when she has masts - from my house on Portsdown.

Also there is my husband (at sea for 51 years RN & MN) who is fed up with living with the 'tria juncta in uno' and feels that if he has to live in a triad, he would like a change from Emma Hamilton!

Best regards, Vanda
