I was pleased to hear of another forthcoming publication by a forum member. Here are details of Alaric's latest: 'You may be interested to know I've just finished the first draft of the third book in my "Fighting Sail" series. The first two, His Majesty's Ship and The Jackass Frigate have now both been published by Fireship in the States, with English editions also being printed over here. (Jackass was originally published by an English house, but Fireship have taken over the rights.) Sales are good so far. The third book, w/t True Colours, is set in 1797, and covers the mutinies, Duncan's ruse at the Texel, and Camperdown.' |
