Another poetry thread - which needs a bit of research.
I remember from many years ago that Mary Wilson - wife of P.M. Harold - was a bit of a poet.
Looking her up on Wikipedia there is actually a suggestion that she might have become Poet Laureate.
Anyway I saw some while back that she had written a poem called something like "They're Cleaning Lord Nelson". I can only assume that it was written when Nelson's Column was having a "wash and brush-up".
It's most likely in one of the anthologies she published. Can anyone track it down?
