I thought this Google alert giving a Spanish view of 'the pirate Nelson's' attack on Santa Cruz might entertain/inform members.

As for the 'errors', where do you begin – and only one lollipop? Also, what would you expect from a website with the name 'Tenerife Holiday Home Insider'? (They left out the vital piece of information that Nelson and his men were initially there for a holiday, thus beginning a noble tradition, and Nelson himself had just bought a time share. Then the Spanish had to go and spoil it!)

Seriously though, perhaps the writers of these articles should do a little more research about the difficulties of such an opeation. They might find it wasn't quite so easy. What, for example, if the Spanish attacked Gibralter – oh, hang on, they did. I wonder what the result of that was?
