I found this interesting website after I had visited the Holy Trinity Church, Lion Walk, Colchester. It lists the 21 Colchester men who fought at the Battle of Trafalgar.

Each year, Colchester remembers those men of Colchester who fought at the Battle of Trafalgar.

An excellent job she has done.

I imagine her starting point was the Ayshford Trafalgar Roll which is a fantastic facility.

We did something similar for all the men from Birmingham and the "Black Country" towns.

(Sorry to go off topic but I am about 99% certain that the guy who set up the main website there - http://www.camulos.com - was at the same school as me. One year below. Small world!)
