Lovely Nelson miniature

While having my morning coffe, I was looking on eBay, where I found this lovely miniature of Nelson.

I think it compares very favourably with this miniature of Nelson in the NMM collection:

I think I prefer yours, which definitely looks as though it's after Abbott, although I'm not too sure about some details of the uniform.

I wouldn't have thought from looking at the NMM example that it is after Abbott. However, I suppose they must know!
