Tony and Alex have been working behind the scenes to upgrade the forum and hope to 'go live' with the new facilities either this evening or over the next few days.

Please be aware that you will not be able to post while the upgrade is in progress. Alex or Tony will advise you when this is taking place, and also when posting can be resumed.

I have been thinking that I might 'tidy up' the forum, deleting outdated posts such as links to ebay sales no longer current, and any temporary messages no longer relevant. If anyone has any objections to this, please let me know, either in the Feedback thread on the Information Forum, or by PM, and I won't go ahead.

(30 November) and 1.00am tomorrow morning (1 December).

The upgrade is now complete. Members can continue to post in the usual way.

I will try to post some step by step instructions to the new forum features in the next few days. In the meantime, most things work exactly the way they did before, so please carry on posting!

The most useful new features are probably the ability to upload images and other attachments (documents) in your posts, and the ability to get email notifications of new posts in a forum (subscribing to a forum). Please go ahead and try them out now if you don't need instructions.
