I don't think there is anything new here, rather a highlighting of all the Nelson-related sites.

Fort Nelson is connected to Nelson???? Only by name surely, (and the memorial nearby), considering the Portsdown forts were built in the 1860's. Oh well the Portsmouth news blunders again.

Post Captain is surely right in Fort Nelson being rather a tenuous, and somewhat misleading, link although a connection to the memorial nearby I can understand. Again it seems a case of Nelson's name being used to promote an attraction, here Fort Nelson, which doesn't warrant it. I would imagine that the fort, somewhat isolated up on Portsdowne Hill, doesn't get similar visitor figures to the other attractions in Portsmouth and they are seemingly attempting to redress the balance by any means!
