Anybody seen or played this game yet?
I have had it for a couple of months..but my god in the trailer...Napoleon (to me looking like a thug) orders HMS Victory burnt, still gives me a shock.

I have seen this a couple of times, on utube, but wouldn't buy the game. Indeed probably couldn't, since I have a Mac!
I don't know if there was something mentioned about the Victory before this scene, but I thought he actually said 'burn 'it'!

To be honest I don't really like these games that tinker around with the truth of history, be it in the things said, as here where Napolean's words are often the reverse of what actually happened, for example in his march on Russia, and his seeming destruction of the British Fleet (with the burning of Victory on the beach, if it is her!) Similarly, I don't really see the point of computer games based on films, in which the player can re-write the story and action to suit themselves, especially with such 'classics' as Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter! I wonder if the authors had been consulted?

I also wonder whether the 'alternative' view of history put forward in these games is partly responsible for the sad knowledge many young people have about real history.
