I'm building Heller's 1/100 scale model of the HMS Victory and am also putting together a little binder with material about the Victory and Lord Nelson. I have a complete list of the men aboard Victory during the Battle of Trafalgar. I also have the names of those who were killed. I am still looking for a list (if any exists) of the wounded.

Does anyone have any idea of where there may be a source for this?

Hello dsippel, and welcome to the forum.

One fascinating source for this is the National Archives catalogue entries for Beatty's surgeon's journal for the Victory. A recent cataloguing project has included all the names for the 102 wounded listed in his journal, with brief details of their injuries and the outcome. See here (and following catalogue entries for folios 36-38 ADM 101/125/1/6 through to ADM 101/125/1/9): http://origin.nationalarchives.gov.uk/c ... thod=5&j=1

Other sources include the Ayshford Trafalgar Roll (CD), and John D. Clarke, 'The Men of HMS Victory at Trafalgar...'.

How is the model coming along?

Thanks Tony for your suggestions. I have sent a request to the National Archives.

The ship's hull and stern are painted. I have put things on hold for now because I am working on a 1/24 scale display of of the gun deck and 24 pound cannon.

Hi Dave. You can also actually pick up all the names online at the link in my first post. For the subsequent entries, click the 'Browse from here' button, then scroll down and select each reference.
