From the Daily Telegraph today, opening an article about Cadiz:
'From this very tower in 1802, people watched Lord Nelson emerge victorious from the Battle of Trafalgar'. Wrong on how many counts?
From the same article:
'Sir Francis Drake and Lord Nelson fought naval battles off Cádiz but neither landed'. Drake may not have landed, but his raid in the inner harbour of Cadiz in 1587 was rather more than a naval battle
'off Cadiz'.
