I have a request to make regarding the Trafalgar Roll. I am researching my family history and was wondering if there was any sailors with the name of either DOE,CHURCHILL or TUTT on any of the vessels involved in the
battle.

Ship: HMS Royal Sovereign
Rank/Rating: Able Seaman
Ship's muster: ADM 36/15755

Frederick Churchill aged 36 born in Blandford, Dorset, England.
Ship: HMS Prince
Rank/Rating: Landsman
Ship's muster: ADM 36/16274

Joseph Churchill aged 16 born in Norwich, Norfolk, England.
Ship: HMS Temeraire
Rank/Rating: Midshipman
Ship's muster: ADM 36/15851

Richard Churchill aged 28 born in Plymouth, Devon, England.
Ship: HMS Conqueror
Rank/Rating: Gunner's Mate
Ship's muster: ADM 36/16250

Samuel Churchill aged 25 born in Stafford, Staffordshire, England.
Ship: HMS Colossus
Rank/Rating: Landsman
Ship's muster: ADM 36/15825

There is some extra information from the Ayshford Trafalgar Roll:

Joseph Churchill's name is given as Josh Dixie Churchill
He was baptised 16 Jul 1789,Erpingham, Norfolk, son of Joseph Dixie & Sarah (ADM107 40/106)
Born in 1788, the son of Rev. J.D. Rector of Henstead, Suffolk
He died Dec 1810 in Jamaica of Yellow Fever

Richard Churchill:
16 Jun 1803 Allotment made ADM27/7 14s per month to mother. Paid Plymouth
Prize money to father Richard
Will in favour of Richd CHURCHILL, father, of Oulton

Samuel Churchill was wounded at the battle and received £10 from Lloyds Patriotic Fund (as well as prize money).
